Issues Downloading games in the Background

I am trying to find any info about Downloading games in the Background, since the option on the Xbox is turned off but when turned off the Xbox does not download the games or content that is pending.

If anyone can help me with this issue since I haven't found anything about this. Thanks in advance

I Can't Go On Anymore Due To DLC Content

Are you sure you didn't have something downloading in the background? Batman is one of those games that boots you to the main menu when something finished downloading in the background.

Go to System>Settings>Console Settings>Startup and Shutdown and then turn on the Background Downloads. When turned on the console will continue downloading DLC when the console is shut down. It will not continue downloading content when you're using other
online features. DLC that is pending must be started before shutting down the console.

Try downloading the game as a background download when your console is turned off. I was having this issue with Crackdown 2 for over a week and the background download solution worked for me.

You have background downloads enabled. This is normal, updates to games and dashboard or whatever you might have pending to download will occur at this time. To disable, go under settings and auto play and choose background downloads and change to disable.
This should solve your issue.
