Issues cycling power on Epson Projector using Xbox One S

I have setup my Xbox One S to control my DirecTV box and Denon A/V receiver, specifically cycling the power on and off. I am trying to setup the Xbox to also cycle the power on my Epson PowerLite Home Cinema 5010e and am having some issues.

When I go through the setup procedures, I have tried searching for my model and can't find it. Then when I try to have the Xbox guide me through the process, the Xbox works to engage the "Menu" on the projector, but then it asks to cycle the "mute" button,
which obviously the projector does not have. The systems asks if it works and I say no twice and then the Xbox says that the TV is now Setup. The Xbox is setup to "Toggle" the projector both on startup and shutdown. When I cycle the Xbox power, the system
cycles power for the A/V and the DirecTV, but still doesn't do the projector.

Can anyone help with this issue or possibly know what the remote code is for this projector?

Setup "On" command with Epson PowerLite 3020 Projector

I am trying to setup my xbox one 'On' command to my Epson PowerLite 3020 Projector and when it does the MUTE test it turns off the screen and mutes it but unable to see what it wants me to do next without turning up volume and the projector turns back on.
Is there some way to select more specifically other than just choosing Epson as my TV?

Double power off option for projector [only work when it is in energy saving mode]

I have been doing a lot of testing and research on the web, looks like xbox one cannot turn off projector which requires two power off IR signals (for instance, EPSON project). I am happy to report that it works correctly in "energy saving mode" (under
Settings>Power & startup>Power mode & startup> "Energy-saving"). It reliably turn off my projector via Voice command, clicking xbox button on the console and on the controller. However, it won't turn off the projector if I select the "Instant-on" option
under the Power mode.

I have this exact same issue, but with an Epson projector. The problem can be resolved if you disable the instant on function. I believe the issue is the fact that the xbox sends the first power signal, then cuts the hdmi signal, then sends the second power
signal. When the hdmi signal is cut, it cancels out the first power signal, making me press power on the projector remote once to get it all the way off.

Well, if the xbox 360 it's self is still putting out a video signal to other displays like TV's or monitor's you know that the issue lies in the one device that's not displaying the picture, the EPSON projector you are asking about. If that projector is
the only device that won't display picture from the Xbox 360 you mentioned, then you know there shouldn't be an issue with the Xbox and that it is likely to do with the Projector. If it doesn't even recognize the HDMI input, it could be a dead cord too, but
I highly doubt that. Try using a new cord, and try messing with the display settings on the projector to see if anything helps, but honestly, it very likely has to do with the projector, and it may be a good idea to contact EPSON support to see if there is
anything they can offer to help you out support wise.

I am in the same boat you are: Xbox One with an Epson 3020. The "mute" command is an AV mute that, from what I can tell, is a cute way to "mute" both the audio coming from the projector (if you use that) and the video projecting out of the 3020. I am in
search of a way for the Xbox One to "turn on" and "turn off" my projector when I issue the Xbox One the respective command. If anyone knows a way for this to work, please let us know! Thanks!
