    Issues connecting Xbox One controller to PC


    I recently started using an Xbox one controller with my laptop. I have two identical ones that have bluetooth and I connected one of the controllers to my laptop using that. The first one was working fine for the first days, but then it stopped working. In settings it showed a "connected" status, but when I went to use it, nothing happened.

    I thought there may have been an issue with that particular controller so I removed it from my laptop and connected the other one. Same thing happened. It worked for a few days, but stopped working even though it said it was connected.

    I tried removing my controller and re-adding it but that did not work. I also tried connecting via USB but that did not work either. I'm running Windows 11 on a new laptop if that makes a difference. Both controllers are the ones that came with my Xbox One.

    and troubleshoot Bluetooth on your Xbox One Wireless Controller    .

    If the issue persists, try connecting the controller via USB to help update the controller on the PC.
