    I'm unable to connect to a friend on Xbox Live. We both have OPEN NATS and are able to connect to other people on our friend's list, but not each other. We can't connect in a party or to chat. I think this started to happen when I connected a new router
    to my Motorolla gateway. I have troubleshooted the issue many times, though so far nothing has solved the problem. Please help.

    Issues connecting with a specific friend.

    Join the same lobby and try there. If not, it may be an ISP issue as I have experienced this with some friends in Madden's past.

    Hey all,

    I'm having trouble playing head-to-head games with only one friend of mine. My NAT type is open, and im pretty sure his is too. What kinds of things can we do to troubleshoot this?

    2. modem is a Motorola SBG900

    3. router is a Medialink MWN-WAPR300N

    4. I am using wireless, but I don't know what you mean by external adapter

    5. upnp is enabled

    6. no nat error

    7. Comcast is my isp

    Hey man sorry to hear about this. But sometimes being in the xbox preview brings bugs. Have you looked at the xbox preview forum? I think I saw others with this problem. I think people are saying either power cycle, which you said you did, or leave and rejoin
    xbox preview.

    The same problem is happening for me. It is not my NAT, it is the Halo servers. It shows about 700 total people online and I CANNOT connect to any of my friends. So frustrating.
