    Issues connecting to xbox live with backwards compatibilty


    Recently I have attempted to play Dead Space 2 on my xbox one, and was met with a message saying "disconnected from xbox live" Thinking this had to do with the recent Visceral shutdown, I also tried to load Left 4 Dead 2, Civilization Revolution, and Burnout
    Paradise. I then reset the cache on my xbox, but still each game hits me with the same message. I am still in my Xbox One party, and all of my devices on the network are still connected to the internet.

    Is this a widespread issue with backwards compatibility, or do I need to change a setting somewhere?

    San Andreas is a supported title.

    Try clearing your cache in the settings, memory menu.

    After that, try loading the game again. Also make sure that you are connected to live so that your Xbox can download the latest backward compatibilty update if needed.

    Game Pass, Backwards Compatibilty and the online features are probably my favourites on Xbox.

    As mentioned above there will be no more backwards compatibilty for the One. They are focusing on Scarlett so it may be backwards compatible there.
