Issues connecting my xbox 360 to wifi

I live in the USA and I am on a college campus connecting to their wifi.I registered it with the university and it had originally been working for 2 months. I am connecting wirelessly with a black adapter. The test doesn't give me an error it just keeps
running the test for ever and it never connects or gives me an error. I have tried everything pretty much even unregistering and re-registering it and the same thing happens. Please help this is annoying

Xbox One - WiFi Issues.

Hi,

I am having issues connecting my Xbox One to my WiFi. I am able to access Xbox Live with a wired connection. I have tried all of the troubleshooting steps that it provides.

I have also tried changing my router settings to having an open WiFi connection. Everything else in my house is able to connect to the WiFi just fine and my old 360 also worked fine.

Is anyone else having any issues with this?

XBOX 360 Slim and Sky WiFi

Hi,

Has anyone had issues connecting their xbox 360 slim to a sky wifi router (netgear brand)

Since owning my 360 I have been unable to get it to connect. I have tried all encryption settings and turning it off but no joy. I know the wifi works ok as my laptop and phone work without problem by the side of the xbox.



Is it just that the wifi card in the 360 is pants?

Hey mate, what is the error code or messages you're getting? This information can really help, post back with it.

Also please don't make multiple threads of the same issues.

 

Sorry about the multiple threads. I'm not getting an error code it just sits there on the first part of the test connection to xbox live. The white dots just keep flashing green on the xbox to wifi part and it never connects or fails.

 

You did say in the original post that it either keeps trying to connect or gives you an error, without the error code or message information or filling out the below information, it's going to be very hard to help you... Can you fill out this information:

How many consoles do you have connected to this router?

Wired or wireless (for each console):

If Wireless, are you using a white or black external adapter, or an internal (Xbox 360S) adapter?

Things you have tried:

Is UPnP Enabled? Yes/no/Unknown

Do you have a NAT error? If so, what is your NAT type?

Any Error Codes you encounter:

Who is your ISP(Internet Service Provider)?

After you run "Test Xbox LIVE connection" press “Y” for "More Info”. In the pop-up that appears, what are the following values, if shown? (If a value below does not appear for you, just leave it blank.)

Sorry I think u misunderstood I meant it never connects or never gives me an error code. I am in ohio at Ohio state university. I don't know the modem info because it's the campus wifi. I have one connected with a black adapter. And I have not recieved
an error message the test just never ends.

Campus wifi is used by lots of people, just waiting might be the best option, if not come back tomorrow and see what answers you have.
