    Issue with Xbox save syncing


    Whenever I go into an app; or game; it tries to sync data, then fails. Trying again doesn't help. Only option is to play offline, which locks me out of a few things. Can I have some help with fixing this? It's been happening today since 4:00 PM PST. Never
    happened before.

    Sorry you're saves aren't there. Is your Xbox Online, and has it been online? When you open the game do you see "Syncing"? If so then it's talking to the cloud, and likely the troubleshooting steps you took before overwrote your cloud saves. If you did not
    see "syncing data", then your saves could still be on the cloud, and there is just an issue with your profile on the Xbox or something else.

    Are you experiencing the cloud syncing issue when playing a Xbox One game or a Xbox 360 backwards compatibility game? If this is for a backwards compatibility game, did you ensure that the saves you're loading are syncing fully to the cloud? For steps on

    I am having the same issue across all games both digital and hard copy I have done every thing and just did a factory reset and still have the same issue

    Game cloud syncing error

    Can you see if there is any update for the game available in the Windows 10 store? If the game version is not in sync with the latest, it might be causing issues with the sync from the cloud.

    And are you syncing a save from a console version, or a different PC, or is this an issue with uploading your local save to the cloud? Curious if we're troubleshooting actually transferring saves to different devices, or a general sync issue.

    Game save data for Starfield on Cloud gaming

    To start, I would recommend checking if your Xbox Live account is properly synced with your game save data. You can do this by going to the "Settings" menu on your Xbox console, selecting "System," and then "Storage." From there, you can check if your game save data is properly synced with your Xbox Live account.

    If your game save data is not properly synced, you can try manually syncing it by going to the "Manage Game & Add-ons" option for Starfield and selecting "Saved Data." From there, you can select "Sync Now" to manually sync your game save data with your Xbox Live account.

    There is no "Sync Now" option. At least not on my xbox.

    It would be great if there was a fix for this issue as i have lost almost 50 hours progress and Sync issues still persist. For the record I have 1gb Internet speed with 0 issues. As suggested elsewhere I check my network connection and xbox reports all is good and no problems with any other game nor cloud gaming.

    This response is not helping anyone. Sorry to be rude but I have seen so mant standard responses from your support to this issue that its starting to be ridiculous.

    Stop giving us script responses and tell us when will the issue with Saves syncing to the cloud will be fixed.

    I play between two PC (but this issue happens between different xbox machines as well as between PC and xbox for others) And the saves just wont sync. Yet another evening ive spend trying to sync my saves to my other machine its taken 2 hours!!!! and no dice sill not synced. Couple of weeks ago its taken 3 hours before it would finally sync.

    There is clearly an issue with the cloud sync in Starfield. But is Bethesda responsible for your cloud save infrastructure? Or is it Microsoft who is responsible for that? Maybe it is them I don't know.

    So many posts of Reedit about this issue as well as on your forums and this issue is still not acknowledged.

    Please give me meaningful response.

    General network congestion and connection quality issues can impact the amount of time it takes to sync your game saves to your Xbox. If you broadcast your gameplay, that can further impact game-save sync time. You can work around this by waiting to start your game broadcast until after the game-save sync process has finished.

    Are you still at your Dad's house and are you able to access the home xbox that is having the sync issue?
