Issue with wireless controller with specific games

About two days ago i decided to play Battlefield 4 with my friends. I started it up but when i got to the menus my controller was unresponsive. I could go to the dashboard and use the controller there, but not in the game, After trying my other games Grand
theft Auto 5 was the only other one to have this issue. The games were not frozen or stuck. I have tried searching for this issue but nothing comes up. I have tried a hard restart and have uninstalled and re-downloaded the game, but nothing so far has worked.
Besides these two games everything has worked fine.

I have this issue with my controller.. it happens when I'm playing any game so it is controller specific for me.

Do you have a Kinect? if so try unplugging it and see if that helps.

You probably mean the right thing, but the Xbox One does not use Bluetooth to connect controllers wirelessly, but a Xbox specific wireless communication protocol.

Since the console has this wireless protocol built into the special wireless module already, the Xbox One doesn't support the USB wireless connector.

Try the
suggestions in the Wireless Controller Troubleshooter here to hopefully fix your wireless controller issues.

Because Xbox controllers use a proprietary wireless technology known as Xbox Wireless. As such you can't use any adapter to connect the controller, it has to be the Xbox Wireless adapter specifically.
