Issue with Rep.

I'm now a good player again but this won't update on the Xbox console?

Rep issue!

Hello! My gamertag is: x2v . My rep has been always good on xbox one. Now after gears UE came out, other players have reported me and I really don't know why? I have been playing with my friends, in a party. So no trashtalk, no early quits, no unsporting
conduct or anything. We just play a lot and own other players. I can't play alone, or i have to wait like 10mins to find a game.. I cant play eith my friends. I really wish, that you there in microsoft will take care of this problem and this rep system. I
love xbox community but this is making me ***. I hope you can help me with my situation, thank you.

 

Rep issue!

This happened to me too (rapid plummet). Please help.

 

Like if you click my profile, it will say "avoid me" - but on the actual enforcement page on Xbox.com - I have been a "good player" for two months straight now?

 

It sometimes takes a while for the enforcement site to sync up.

Your rep on your console tends to be your true rep.

I have been "good player" for TWO MONTHS! - still hasnt updated on Xbox :/ - nothing more I can do, if im already back up to good but Xbox wont show any different, then my Account is basically worthless now...

 

It takes some time to get back to normal, that is the whole point of it, it was never meant to be quickly turned around from bad to good, but it can and will be if you continue to avoid the actions that lead to it going down in the first place, just give
itn time and keep up your good online etiquette.

you most likely need a perfect record for 6 months as the reputation is looked at over a 6 month period.

 

Hmmm, but extreme but nothing else I can do but wait out another 3 months I guess....

 

in a way it does mean that the person affected will most likely follow the rules so to avoid being in this long drawn out situation again, tis extreme and some of the rules are a little bit meh but it is a global service.

 

It doesn't take 6 months to get your rep back up as long as you behave decently online.

It also depends on how much you play as well.

If your rep hasn't changed after 3 months then you maybe aren't being as good a player as you think you are.

 

Yeap, this whole "i have been good for a certain amount of time so my rep should be back to good", is not the correct mindset to be in when it comes to rep, people should be civil and decent at all times, you can enjoy gaming with others without resoting
to behaviour that results in bad rep. and as i said before, to get rep to go into "avoid me", must have been some very poor online behviour over a sustained amount of time and affected a lot, and i mean a lot of player online to get to this level, bad rep
does not appear over night with a few bad feedbacks.

But the rep system was never mean't to be corrected within a certain timelimit and then back to square one, that is the point of it, it is mean't to show people that how they play online will effect their own experience in the end.
