issue with remoting into xbox from app to remote play

I am having issues remoting into my xbox using the app on my laptop when I attempt it constantly says launching with cloud gaming but nothing ever happens besides switching to press F11 to fullscreen. Let me clarify using the app on my phone works but it's also not connected to the network which makes me think it may be my network but I can't figure out where to start. I have tried to cycle both resetting and cycling the power on the xbox laptop and router/modem IE the generic answers that the xbox support and ambassadors give you but no luck any ideas.

Please open the Xbox Console Companion app on your computer. If you don't have it, please install it. After opening, go to Settings (the gear icon), then Network. Please share a screenshot of the results of your network connection test with the Xbox Live servers.

Then remote.play wont work

Remote play ala xcloud is only available on gamepass ultimate

Game.streaming.via.the xbox companion app requires a xbox

Keep in mind you can't.use.the.xbox while you are.using.the wireless gamestreaming

Huh? Remote Play is nothing to do with Xcloud or Game Pass. And if it won't work, then how can they get it working on their Android device? And they have an Xbox so that's not the issue.

They are trying to Remote Play their Series X games from their Series X console to their PC via the Remote Play feature and using the Xbox App. This should work without an issue, as it does with their Android device. There is nothing on the Remote Play page to suggest Game Pass is needed

Yes, I agree. This is similar like remote play (app is the same). In the old xbox companion app for remote play you can use 4 controllers to remote play but unfortunally we canot use old xbox companion app with xbox series.
