Discus and support Issue with New Player Joining Game in XBoX Games and Apps to solve the problem; When my son tries to join my game (offline and online mode) as a second player, he often gets the message "Player can no longer do this...     Issue with New Player Joining Game


    When my son tries to join my game (offline and online mode) as a second player, he often gets the message "Player can no longer do this... Player can no longer do that... etc.", then is not able to do anything in the game (other than move around and look
    around) - he cannot mine, chop trees, etc. Issue seems be when creating a new world (without skins (i.e. Skyrim, Halo, etc.)).

    Any thoughts?

    Has anyone had issues trying to join friends playing this? trying to play dead island and it keeps coming up unable to join game yet it will join random players in seconds......

    You have to change the settings I believe... I am about to eat dinner can look into it for you after, before the game loads you cna edit the game settings look around, and also is he joining as a guest or another profile...

    In Minecraft, the world is saved to the account that is "Player 1" and starts the game first.

    When the second player joins that world, he is saved together with the world in Player 1's save slot.

    If the second player starts the game themselves, they start a new game with a new world and empty inventory, as they have no access to Player 1's savegame. To prevent that, make sure that Player 1 starts Minecraft and enters their world, and that Player
    2 then joins that session.

    If you want the two players to be able to play independently on the same world, you would need to rent (and pay for) a Realm that is hosted on Minecraft's online service.

    I have found that you need to sit on the "games" screen and watch new ones show up, then join one of those. You are less likely to get the this game is full or unavailabel message.

    If I create a game it usually takes 5-10 min to fill up. (this was before hte new players all joined).

    I only play Ranked matches

    The quiters are the worse part, it gotten alot worse lately with the influx of new players.
