Issue with "My Home Xbox" !!!

Ok, I've been trying to find some help with setting my xbox one console as my home xbox...

So I only own 1 xbox one console and it has always been set as "my home xbox" under settings for my personal xbox live gold account, but recently I noticed that someone had logged into my xbox live account on a different xbox one and set that xbox one as the
home xbox. So I immediately went into my settings and set my personal xbox one as the home xbox. Then shortly after that I noticed that my personal xbox one was no longer set as the home xbox AGAIN, so I changed my password to my account and tried to set my
xbox one as the home xbox again, but this time an error popped up saying that I can only switch my accounts home xbox 3 times per year, so now someone else's xbox one console is set as my accounts home xbox and I can't change it back to mine for A WHOLE YEAR!!!

Can someone PLEASE help me with this issue?!?!?!?!?!

...I changed my account password so if I can just set my console back to the home xbox one last time whoever has been changing it shouldn't be able to change it on me again. I just need to switch it one last time

That just means your friend is not sharing his account with you anymore.

i have the issue actually made all 4 of my accounts home weeks later it stoped working so i checked n.it says make this ur home xbox i pressed it this is not my home Xbox backed out want on home xbox again and it' says make this my home Xbox again

"My home Xbox" Mistake.

A follow up to my previous reply. Called Xbox live again this morning as no changes to the x3 counter had happened. A 'Very' helpful guy then went through the process again, but this time I removed the profile then redownloaded loaded it again. This
has worked and now have the x3 counter reset. So hopefully you could go through the same procedure. Good luck.

Hey there, Zanzo! I'm sorry to see that someone kept changing your Home console! I very much suggest that you
contact support for this particular issue. They have some tools and tips to help you out. Since you already changed your password, I do suggest that you change
the email associated with your gamertag, too, just to be sure. Support can also walk you through that if you need further help with that.

No, you can't get arount it as its a safeguard to prevent unautorized account/game sharing.. in order for your brother to access your games and content without being logged into your account the console he plays on has to be set as your "home console/xbox"
the three switches per year is to prevent unautorized use of the feature.. as I understand it the home console function is meant to allow sharing of games/content by people living under the same roof.. I would not recomend trying to work around this by giving
your brother access to your live account as this would fall under the term "account sharing" which is against the tou & coc and will result in an account and/or console ban.

You may need to sign in with the account on the console just to refresh the games maybe ?

According to the explanation you have provided, I believe you will only need to follow those simple steps that I will provide you with and your issue should be fixed.

The first step you will need to follow is to ensure that your home console is set up correctly, so please follow the link bellow:

Designate a home Xbox | Xbox Support

After you make sure that the account you have the subscription is set up correctly please sign out or switch profile, then sign in with the account that does not own the subscription.

The second step is to make sure that you are signed in with two different profiles.

Please make sure that the profile that does not own the subscription is the one signed in on the console you made the home xbox. As for the account that owns the subscription can be signed on the other console.
