    I'm trying to download the one month membership for £1 from my dashboard, but every time I try to I'm told there is an issue with my account. I am currently using a paypal account that definitely works and I definitely have money in the account. I have
    checked the Microsoft billing website, but there doesn't seem to be a problem.

    a "pending" state?

    We have escalated this issue to our payment operations team, and are currently awaiting their response on why this occurred. Thank you for your response. We can confirm that you are seeing the same information we are seeing, so you may now see that this
    event was now "refunded". This is normally what our deposits are listed as, since we are adding funds to your account. However, while this event will claim to have completed successfully, there may not be any funds actually added to your commerce account.

    To be clear, we still see on our report of your Xbox Live Rewards Account that our deposit is listed as failed, so we have records in our system that indicates you have not any funds added. We are still working on getting these funds to you successfully.
    Just wanted to pop in with an update, and let you know that we definitely see that you have not yet received your currency, despite what the commerce page says. Again, we apologize for the inconvenience.

    We have heard back from our payment operations team, and it appears that at the time of the deposit, there was a temporary issue that caused certain users deposits to get hung up and fail to complete successfully. This disconnect also appears to have caused
    these erroneous "successful" deposit events to show up on your commerce page. Our operations team has resolved this issue, and you should be able to receive your next deposit without any issue. They are still working on removing the false deposit event from
    your commerce page, so that incorrect information may persist. If you have any issue with our end of month deposit that is about to occur, let us know with a new post and we will escalate to our operations team ASAP. Again, we apologize for the inconvenience,
    and thank you for your patience while we work on getting your deposit and commerce history squared away.

    Hello JerisBren,

    Your deposit is being prevented due to a mismatch between your US Rewards Account region and your Brazilian Microsoft Account region. When you register into the Rewards program, we create a Rewards account based on your Microsoft Account region at the time
    of registration. Since your Rewards Account is a separate entity from your Microsoft Account, migrating your Microsoft Account region will not also change your Rewards Account region. Therefore, when your Rewards Account attempts a deposit in one regional
    currency, it cannot complete when your Microsoft Account is of a differing currency.

    However, this issue can be fixed by heading over to the Microsoft Commerce page at (https://commerce.microsoft.com) to update your Microsoft account to match your Xbox Live Rewards location. Another option if
    you wish to continue with Rewards in your current Xbox Live region is to opt out of the program at (https://rewards.xbox.com/optout/), wait 48 hours and then sign back up again, which can also take 48 hours.

    While you will lose your progress by starting a brand new account, you can start earning Rewards Credits that will successfully reward your newly registered regional currency. To confirm that you have re-registered correctly, you can check your join date
    from the MyRewards page at (https://rewards.xbox.com/myrewards/). If your join date shows a specific date, then your account has successfully been re-registered. If you see “???” then your account is still
    being created. If you open a new post after being able to log in to your new Rewards account, you can request any pending deposits from your old account to your new one.

    If Xbox Live Rewards is unable to deposit into your account for some reason, as long as you have not opted out to make the transition to Microsoft Rewards, any undeposited Xbox Live Rewards Credits and unredeemed MyVIP Gems will be automatically converted
    to Microsoft Rewards points and be added to your Microsoft Rewards account to redeem for whatever you choose from the Microsoft Rewards catalog.
