Issue with HDMI cable

Hey yes the AV cables do work perfect but I would much rather be gaming on HD if ya know what I mean. I went and tried it on my dads hd tv and it worked perfect. The best I could get on his TV was 1080i where as my TV is 1080p. I don't know if that information
helps.

Hey there Kevin! Can you try your console with any other cables, like the A/V cable that came with the console? Do you get the same thing with that one? Can you also try your console and cables on another TV to see what happens? These tests will help us

just as others have suggested using a different port or different cable also try a different device on the same tv. Awkward as it may be it might be the hdmi port on the device and not the cord or the port on the tv.

Okay I found the fix! I thought you only had to hold the Y button down. It turns out you have to pull the R Trigger. Then the console restarted and it worked. If this happens to anyone else be sure to pay attention to weather the console restarts after you
turn it on.

NEVERMIND! it has fixed itself.
