    Issue with gifting a game


    I just bought the digital version of Black Ops 4, and now I want to buy another copy to gift to a friend. But when I go to the store, it only gives the me option to install the game because I already own it.

    Is there still a way to gift a game through Xbox Live, or do I just need to send him 60 bucks so he can buy it himself.

    Game gifting issue

    Recently I bought Battlefront 2 through the Xbox Store. Today I decided to gift my friend the same game, however an issue came about. The game got deleted on my Xbox, not by my doing of course. Now I am currently re-downloading the game, however this situation is
    quite annoying because the game is 60GB, which doesn’t have a quick install time with my internet. Is this a glitch or did I gift the game wrong. Also my friend downloaded the game fine.

    Issue with gifting a game

    I don't know if it's because it's still a pre-order, but that game can't currently be gifted (gifting is still a thing but not all games can be gifted). You could buy an Xbox gift card and give him the code. You can get digital codes through microsoftstore.com
    or places like Amazon.
