    Issue With Gifted Games


    My friend was downloading an update for minecraft bedrock on xbox one but it got stopped at 95% so they tried to reset, restart etc. But it didnt work so they factory resetted (mightve been hard reset) the xbox but then they couldnt play minecraft because they apparently didnt own it, this happened with stardew valley and some dlcs from for honor. Minecraft was redeemed as a hift from xbox a long time ago and stardew valley was given as a gift from another friend. They can still play minecraft on another xbox but why did they lose ownership of all these things? Im asking for them because they had a lot of trouble figuring out how to ask a question.
