    Issue with getting xbox 360 game in the Microsoft store


    I have a Xbox live gold account. I'm getting the message when I try to get the free Xbox 360 game "Your account is unable to make this type of purchase on Xbox.com. Please complete this transaction from your
    Xbox." I've tried to change     Microsoft account age and add payment option but I got this message again. What should I do?

    Why can't you buy backwards compatible games with credits/money on your Microsoft account

    ? You baught 360 games on the Xbox One with store credits. How?

    Issue with Microsoft Store

    Hello all,

    Just looking for some advice as I'm having difficulty using the store on Xbox One.

    The store loads but when I click on a game, film or app, the page that shows the details just has a grey screen with the Deals, More Games, Downloads and Search buttons with nothing else.

    Anyone know what to do to fix this?

    If you're on a child account, you will have to make the purchase on a 360 console. Changing the age of your Microsoft account does not change the age of your Xbox account. That cannot be changed.

    I bought one game in the Microsoft Store on this account over 2 weeks ago but it was for Xbox One. Should I buy the game for xbox 360 with backward capability in Microsoft Store?

    The One store and 360 store are set up differently. So even though you can purchase One content through it, there are still certain restrictions that can keep an account from purchasing 360 content through the One store. As stated above, if you're on a
    child account you would have to make the purchase through a 360 console. That is due to child restrictions that cannot be adjusted through the One store.

    Battleblock Theatre is an Xbox 360 game. It doesn't matter if you get it from the Microsoft Store, The Xbox 360 marketplace website or the console. You will still be able to play the game on the Xbox 360.
