    My Forza horizon app has not been launching for the past three days, it would display "something went wrong" and proceed to close. If I ran the app as administrator, the app would open, but not allow me access to online features. My drivers were up to date and ideally it should've worked. Through some forum browsing, I decided to go into my windows settings and reset my app data for Forza.

    After doing this, the app practically disappeared. I can still look it up in my search but cannot open it, I believe it still takes up space in my hard drives (not 100% sure), and when I try and install it from the Microsoft store or Xbox app I get error Code: 0x803FB107.

    I have zero idea what is going on, and i would really appreciate some help.

    Please try the following:

    Step 1

    - Type Troubleshoot in Windows search and press Enter

    - If you can't see troubleshooters, click the Additional troubleshooters option on the right

    - Here, find Windows update section

    - Click Run the troubleshooter and wait till the process is finished.

    Step 2

    - Type Services in Windows search and hit Enter

    - In the new Windows, scroll down till you find Background Intelligent Transfer Service (BITS)

    - If the service is running, right-click and select Restart

    - If not, right-click and select Start

    - Do the same with Windows Update service.

    Step 3

    Press Win + REnter the following and hit Enter:

    regsvr32 Qmgr.dll /s

    Open the Run dialog again and run the following command:

    regsvr32 Qmgrprxy.dll /s

    Step 4

    For this fix to work, you would have to find another Windows 10 machine of the same version (Home/Pro/Enterprise). If you have access to such a machine, do the following:

    - Access another computerType regedit in Windows search and press Enter

    - If User Account Control shows up, click YesNavigate to the following location:

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\\System\\CurrentControlSet\\Services\\TrustedInstaller

    - Right-click on the branch and select Export

    - Choose the location, name the file trustedinstaller and click Save

    - Transfer the file to your computer

    - Once the file is on your desktop, double-click the trustedinstaller.reg to merge it with your own registry

    - Restart the PC and try updating Windows again.

    Step 5

    If none of the above helps, you can repair your Windows installation without losing files or installed apps. Here's how to do it:

    - Go to the official Microsoft website and download installation files

    - Once downloaded, double-click the setup.exe

    - Accept License and Terms, select Upgrade this PC now, and click Next

    - After the necessary files are downloaded, choose Keep personal files and apps

    - Click Install (make sure that all apps are closed and not running before doing this)

    - Your PC will restart and installation finished

    First check if windows 10 is up to date. Make sure your time and date are correct on your windows settings.

    There is an "Optional Updates" button in the smallest print. Kindly check and perform the updates as well.

    Make sure that this is turned on "Receive updates for other Microsoft products when you update Windows" under Advanced Options

    Check for store updates: Start menu, select Microsoft Store > More > Downloads and updates > Get updates.

    If Updating the system doesn't help, I'll suggest you run a scan to check for problems and repair them.

    Press Windows + R, type cmd, and press Ctrl + Shift + Enter to run Command Prompt as administrator. Next type sfc /scannow in Command Prompt window, and press Enter to start to scan and repair corrupt system files in Windows 10.

    ✓ CLEAR CACHE:

    a) Search Disk Cleanup on start up menu

    Select your OS drive

    Mark Temporary Files

    Hit Clean up

    Okay

    b) Then search CMD and Run as Admin (right click on it to select admin permission)

    Type

    Ipconfig/flushDNS

    Hit Enter

    ✓ Please sign out of the following and sign in back again.

    Xbox app, EA desktop, MS store and PC

    ✓ RUN WINDOWS STORE TROUBLESHOOTER

    Click on Start and select Settings.

    Choose Update and security.

    Click on Troubleshoot option.

    Click Additional troubleshooters.

    Scroll down and click on Windows Store Apps and click on Run the Troubleshooter.

    The troubleshooter will scan the system for any problem related to the Windows Store and recommend fixes accordingly.

    ✓ RESET THE XBOX APP

    Click Start and click Settings.

    Select Apps

    Select Apps & features.

    Find the Xbox app and click Advanced options.

    Click Reset.

    Restart your device so that the changes can take effect. Sign in to the Xbox app and check if the same issue occurs.

    ✓ RESET WINDOWS STORE CACHE

    Close store app

    Press Windows Key+R to open run command

    Type

    WSreset.exe

    And press Enter

    Let the blank page process

    Store will start automatically.

    Try resetting the game from your system settings. perhaps this will cause the game to resync the data stored properly for you. I'll provide you with the steps to access the option.

    1. From your desktop, right click on start and select settings.
    2. Select Apps within the settings and click on "Apps & features".
    3. Find Forza Horizon 4 and select it.
    4. Click on "Advanced options".
    5. Find the Reset option and select reset.
    6. Launch the game about a minute after and see if your game data resyncs properly from the cloud.
