Issue with controllers

My left joystick in both of my controllers are moving the cursor around and making it difficult to navigate. I am unsure of the warranty and would like to see what I can do with it. I’ve had it for about two or three years. And o also had
difficulty doing this as well, because it’s not letting me find different topics, so I randomly picked call of duty as a topic.

Had this issue for eight months, all you can do is use kinect in party chat... Trust me it sucks not being able to use gamechat and then having to invite everyone to a party to talk

2nd issue with controllers /headsets

I am getting so sick of this. All I ask if for my controllers/ mics to work.

My first problem occurred sometime ago with your firmware bricking 2 of my controllers. So I send in my controllers for repair and of course lose my Day One Controller logo.

Now my *** headset mics won't work. I have swapped new headsets with new controllers and the only thing that doesn't work is the *** mic. I have done cold resets and even went as far as redoing my routers. I can hear people just fine but, the mics just don't
work. I spoke with tech support and apparently this is an issue with Xbox.

This needs to be fixed.

if you have it for 2 or 3 years, I don't think there is any warranty left.

Only thing to do is buy a new controller.

Warranty is usually around 3 months for controllers.

If you would like to replace your controller:

Go to Device Support and select Replace an accessory.

Select the Xbox One console for your controller, or the Xbox One controller you’ve registered separately.

Select Controller and then select Next.

Follow the on-screen prompts to complete your service order request.

It sounds like you're not hitting the sync button on the console itself.

With your console powered on, hit the Guide button. Wait for the LEDs to start flashing. Once they're flashing, hit the sync button (near the Play & Charge cable port). The LEDs on the controller will start spinning. After you've hit that, hit the Sync button
on the front of the consoles. On the original 360 it's its own button to the right of the MU ports. On the 360 S it's the IR window/button to the left of the front USB trap door. Once you hit the sync button on the console, the Ring of Light on the console
should start spinning.

Controllers do wear out. Every gamer handles it different and your movements will do that to the joystick. Certain games are harder on different buttons. Thats a battlefield controller

mine looks just like it. Its a battle hardened controller that might
need to be retired. It happens to the best of us.
