Issue with controller disconnecting from console, and console disconnecting from the internet

Here are the best details I can give for my problem:

• Started around 3 weeks ago
• after around an hour and a half of playtime on any game, my controller will start to disconnect every 15-30 minutes. When it disconnects it immediately starts trying to reconnect (flashing home button) While it's doing that, my console will lose connection
  to the internet, approx. 5 seconds after the controller initially disconnected. The console only remains disconnected from the internet for a couple seconds before reconnecting, and the controller and console both seem to reconnect at about the same time.
  This causes problems with any online game, as i'll be booted out and sent back to that games startup screen.
• The controller disconnecting part happens with offline games also

Here are some of the solutions I've already been given by support which didn't work for me

• Power cycling the console
• Factory resetting the console (chose the option for it to keep all downloads so I didn't have to redownload my games.)
• Resetting my router
• Testing my NAT/online connection
• Keeping any other devices clear of the space.
• Moving closer to the console

One solution I was given that i'm unable to test is trying my controller on another console, or trying another controller on my console, as I don't have access to other devices. I've been told it could be an internet connection problem, which I doubt because
it wouldn't explain why my controller disconnects, and I don't think it's a controller problem because that doesn't explain why the console loses internet connection. I have 0 connection problems on other devices like my laptop or phone, and I haven't done/changed
anything around the time this problem started. The people I've worked with from support have been really helpful but their suggestions haven't worked for me, has anyone else had this problem and found a solution? it makes most games unplayable for the time
being. any suggestions outside the one's I've tried would be greatly appreciated.

Xbox Controller Frequently disconnecting from Xbox during Online Games

This problem started around three or four weeks ago, while playing game such as GTA online my controller will disconnect from the console and flashes for 5-10 seconds. I have comcast internet and it also frequently disconnects from the console, but when
the internet connection is bad it seems to affect the frequency of it disconnecting. Before the Console update the controller never disconnected even when the connection to internet was not the best but after the update the disconnection problem started.

 

Controller desyncing and Xbox Live disconnecting.

My Xbox One has been repeatedly desyncing my controller and then ~5 seconds later my console will disconnect from Xbox Live. If I'm in a part I can still hear every one clearly through the TV until it disconnects from Xbox Live. The controller will eventually
reconnect to the console and the console will reconnect to the internet. The problem occurs randomly. Does anyone know how to remedy the issue?

 

Hello! I'm sorry you are having this problem. I've never experience a similar behavior but I think the best way to solve the issue is to troubleshoot the two parts by separate.

I will start with the controller:

Since you already tried getting closer to the console, power cycling the console and I'm going to assume that battery isn't the issue.. I would like to recommend Updating the controller, you can find a tutorial on how to update it here: Update Xbox One Controller

Are you having this behavior with the control plugged into the console, I would like you to try updating the controller and using it with the USB cable, if your control still is having issues then is likely that it needs a repair or service you can find

Troubleshooting the console:

It sounds like 2 separate issues, One being the controller disconnects, and the other being the console disconnecting.

Are you able to plug your console into router with an Ethernet cable?

The controller already had all updates, and none of the console solutions worked for me or had any effect unfortunately.
