Issue with Backwards Compatible/Games with Gold access

Okay. My old Credit card recently expired. I removed it and have added my wife's current one and also linked my paypal as well. I myself do not currently have a personal account (recently moved to UK from US awaiting proper documents to do so)

I have changed my region accordingly.

Added/ removed and added again both the card and paypal account, multiple times.

I cannot download any backwards compatible games or free games with gold.

I linked them properly twice now.

I can purchase Xbox One games fine with her card and paypal but nothing 360 related (through system or even the site)

I hard reset the console. Waiting 48 hours,

Then repeated process again.

Anyone else have a similar issue after following ALL OF THE NORMAL STEPS that customer service puts you through (automated responses and otherwise)?

The lack of free 360 games on Xbox live is troubling but no purchases either?

Also this has been over a month, too.

Just curious before I bite the bullet and call support/

Games with Gold Titles Included in Backward Compatibility

When backward compatibility launches in November, all future Xbox 360 Games with Gold titles will be playable on Xbox One. That means Xbox Live Gold members now will get more free games to play each month on Xbox One.

Not all games with gold games are backwards compatible you can check the backwards compatibility list to see which ones ate

 

Hi, check your billing address is set to your new UK address at https://account.microsoft.com

Try removing your account from the Xbox settings>account>remove accounts then do a full power cycle Restart or Power Cycle Xbox One Console
and add your account back on.

Have you changed the billing adress if so it should work correctly but if you don't want to get this type of errors i recomend buying a old 360 because there you don't need a paypal account or credit card to claim the gold game

 

In order to fix your issue regarding Xbox 360 games you will need to migrate your Microsoft account to the country you're in or you will have problems regarding Xbox 360 games and other Microsoft account purchases: (this is different than changing your address
and must be done when moving between countries for long periods).

Sign in to your Microsoft account

Make sure you read all the warnings first. After migrating to the country you're in you can download those Xbox 360 games with gold with no problems - if you have a valid payment method attached.
