  1. Issue with Account and Concern about Transition to Microsoft Rewards


    I find it extremely curious that the announcement of the change to Microsoft Rewards is made on 4/1/18 and then that same month there is suddenly something wrong with my account that won't allow my credits to be deposited. I posted in the
    support forum twice now about my account issue (which many other people seem to have as well)
    and received an answer that it is being worked on. I don't have a lot of faith at this point that it will be resolved before the deadline to redeem these points prior to the conversion to Microsoft Rewards.

    In addition to this problem the Vault to trade in Gems is always sold out of items that most people would want. If the Gems get converted to Microsoft Reward points they are worth only a small fraction of the value of the Gems. Normally it is not an issue
    for Gem redemption items to be limited because you can always try again when the Vault has been resupplied and redeem the Gems at a later date. Since that is no longer the case after 6/15/18, either the number of items available for redemption should not
    be limited or the conversion rate for Gems to Microsoft Reward Points should be increased to match the value of the Gems today.

    I have seen class action lawsuits come up from other rewards programs not handling this type of transition well. I really hope Microsoft makes the necessary adjustments to the XBOX Live Rewards program for higher value Gem redemptions and to fix
    broken accounts before the program ends to avoid the necessary legal action to resolve these issues.
