    Hi friends.

    I have this problem.

    I have downloaded on my XBOX ONE X some XBOX 360 games by Microsoft Store but when the game start it ask to connect with XBOX LIVE for XBOX 360 profile recovery and it stops on error message "unable to connect to XBOX LIVE" and I can't play no XBOX 360 game.

    I already checked and my XBOX ONE X is regularly connected to XBOX LIVE.

    Then a doubt is coming to me:

    To play this games I need a original cd copy XBOX 360?

    If so I would also be forced to buy the original cd XBOX 360 copies and I would be really disappointed since the games cost so much in digital versions.

    You did it right, is on the Xbox One. Backward compatibility works on a Xbox 360 emulator on the Xbox One.

    Please note that to be able to play on the emulator you have to sign in first on your Xbox One with the account you adcquired the xbox 360 games.

    To launch the Xbox 360 guide you have to open the 360 game first then after the load screen press the Menu and View buttons (the two middle buttons on your controller).

    The profile you download on the 360 must be the same on the XOne.

    I don't know if I have understood correctly. I have to do this directly from the settings of my XBOX ONE X or I would have to own an XBOX 360 (I don't have it). anyway I tried to do "clear local Xbox 360 memory" from the archive of my XBOX ONE X but it
    didn't have any effect.

    Am i doing something wrong?

    A disc is not necessary, however you need to sign in in the Xbox 360 dashboard with you account, try to remove any storage you have:

    1. Press the Xbox button to open the guide.
    2. Select System > Settings > System > Storage, and then select Clear local Xbox 360 storage.

      This won’t affect cloud-saved games or Xbox One games and profiles

    Yes by reset it i mean factory wiped it. But what i dont understand is that my other backwards compatibile games work and the two games work on my old xbox one, but for whatever reason they dont work on my almost brand new xbox one X, which is suppose
