    Issue - system updates with Xcloud & Gamepass apps


    Request- with Xbox Series X please have "System" updates especially Xbox insider (Alpha) Updates run in the background automatically (even when powered off) or pushed through a notification via Xbox application (Xcloud , Gamepass , Xbox Smart Glass app ) to cellphone or device for approval to start the console update remotely but it'd be alot better if it was done automatically in the background even when turn off if possible especially when you have Auto update turned on ... . right now with being a Xbox insider (Alpha) I get updates ALOT then when I'm not home & away from my console & am trying to 1. Play using Xcloud via Streaming from my Xbox to my device 2. Using Xbox Game pass to start a Game download on my Xbox One X . 3. Use voice assistant ( google , Cortana ect.) You can't use any of them or do anything until you physical Turn on your console then approve/Start the Download of the system update & wait until it finishes.

    You can't do anything or use any of those features if your console needs a update. And again if your in the Xbox insider program especially the (Alpha program) then you have to update your Console A LOT.

    So if you leave your house either for the day or go on vacation for a extended amount of time & leave your console at home expecting to use XCLOUD to stream or use any other feature or want to play a game by downloading it to your Xbox console at home through the Game pass app then play it on Xcloud... and a system update pops up at anytime on your console while your gone you then have absolutely no way of being able to Stream your own console , Download Game titles remotely either via Gamepass or Microsoft store online Or use any kind of voice assistant. Until you get home.....

    So having it where Software Updates either happen Automatically in the background or have a Notification that's pushed to your cellphone/Device for approval to start letting you know that you need to update & are able to start it remotely ... or by when you open XCLOUD , Game pass app & the XBOX Application having a prompt , "These services are unavailable currently until you finish a sysstem update". letting you know that your system needs a update really fast then your able to go ahead and start the update remotely from anywhere with your mobile Device cellphone , Tablet , PC. Or through the Xbox apps

    Cloud gaming

    You have to do it from the gamepass app

    Also have to be in an xcloud region

    Best bet check the gamepass list of regions and mind you not all xgu regions support xcloud and are geo restricted for performance

    For cloud gaming on PC - PLEASE disable the requirement to use a controller.

    Or you could.use the pc version if it's on gamepass pc if you meet the system requirements

    Xcloud removes system requirements but are as mentioned console games

    Xcloud is a gamepass ultimate feature only and you have.to be in a xcloud region

    Yes there is no issue with xcloud but there is some issue the app, both pc and mobile, with how the mobile app and how the service handles the data packets. I sit next to the router with my mobile device and it still doesn't work. Are there any specific ports that should be forwarded on the router? Xcloud streaming on the mobile and in the gamepass pc app have similar issues even though my pc is hardwired, the only way I have been able to play it is through a web browser on my pc.

    ou can for what spurpose

    Gamepass games can only be gotten with the gamepass app and the xbox store not steam

    You can run Windows 10 or 11 thru boot camp or parrallels

    You would need windows ro access xbox atone or xcloud rk access xcloud ganes
