Discus and support Issue redeeming Xbox Live codes (5 times!) in XBoX Games and Apps to solve the problem; I've entered about 5 prepaid Xbox live codes into my account using the "redeem a code" directly on to my Xbox one.     Issue redeeming Xbox Live codes (5 times!)


    I've entered about 5 prepaid Xbox live codes into my account using the "redeem a code" directly on to my Xbox one. Whenever i enter it it tells me that if the code is backwards compatible, it will show up in my ready to install section of the Xbox.
    It doesn't show up anywhere and i don't have access to Xbox Live. I'm out of codes and i don't want to buy more because something is clearly wrong

    Are you having trouble using the Xbox One Online features?

    This is of course part of the launch growing process but it's being reported that Xbox One users are having issues with accessing multiplayer, redeeming their Xbox Live codes and using Squad Assualt in COD: Ghosts. It's official because Microsoft has put a message about the problem on the Xbox Live Status page. I doubt that the problem is going to last that long though, Microsoft will probably have it fixed in a few days.

    Do you mean xbox live trial cards ?

    They don't turn your account into gold only temporary multilayer access in the games they were bought with and only in certain modes

    DId you buy the 25 character, 5 by 5 code for the Xbox LIVE Gold subscription, either on a card or by online delivery?



    If so, have you selected REDEEM CODE at the Website <

    Since you live in a non-Live supported region you will experience issues purchasing and/or downloading Marketplace content and redeeming Live time and ms point codes.

    My gift card said it was accepted for my Xbox live gold account then never added

    Same thing happened here. Went through the process of redeeming a prepaid xbox live code and it spat back a "Code already redeemed" with a timestamp of the exact time I went to redeem it.

    The conclusion I came to with this issue was that people are trying to redeem the code with an a account that has shared membership you must redeem the code on a profile that actually has xbox live
