    Issue playing fortnite with keyboard and mouse on second account?


    I have an Xbox with a gold subscription and so does my son. For him to play Fortnite on my Xbox he also needs me signed in and fortnite works fine (with a controller). However when he wants to use a keyboard and mouse it will always default to my account
    and will not allow him to use. I can use keyboard and mouse with no issue, and he can use it on his Xbox, but he can not use on my Xbox with his account? Any suggestions please?

    Thanks for reaching out to us here on the forums with this situation. I understand you're having issues with playing Fortnite with keyboard and mouse from a child account is that correct? I would definitely recommend

    contacting Epic Games     and asking them if that is by design or if its just a compatibility issue that needs to be addressed. Hope this helps.

    Currently only Minecraft (without the "Xbox One Edition" in the title) is playable with keyboard and mouse.

    All other games, including Fortnite do NOT work with Keyboard and Mouse on the Xbox One.

    If you want to play Fortnite with Keyboard and Mouse, you can do that on a regular Windows PC.

    Unfortunately, split screen mode in Fortnite requires two controllers to be connected to the console. It is not possible to play split screen with a combination of a controller and a mouse & keyboard. You will need to have two controllers to play split screen mode in Fortnite.

    You will.have.to.purchase a.second controller keyboard.

    You will be.hardpressed to find a game that supports keyboard and mouse on 2 players
