Issue Installing No Man's Sky from GamesPass on Xbox One S

Hi,

I've been having repeated issues downloading and installing No Man's Sky from the GamesPass store, it always stops installing at 3.1% (around 312mb) and I can't find any way to fix the issue - looking at the other posts here I have done the following:

Uninstalled and reinstalled No Man's Sky

Tried installing another game from Games Pass (which had no issues)

Performed a soft reset of the console (unplugging it from the mains and cycling the power and waiting before firing it up again).

Performed a reset of the console (retaining the saves on my console etc)

Cleared my local game save cache

Checked to see if my console is up to date.

None of these solutions have worked, and I'm at a loss as to what else I can do, this has never happened before and I'm unsure if it's my console or the game itself - but it looks like other people can install the game with no issues.

I've been trying to reach support but the closest I've had is speaking to another gamer through chat - and they couldn't help.

The callback function doesn't seem to work - can you advise how to arrange them to call me?

No this didn't work - it always gets stuck at the same point every time.

Literally every other game downloads & installs fine I don't understand what the issue is with NMS specifically.

Hey so I figured out how to fix it in this instance - for anyone who's having similar problems with NMS or another game then maybe this'll work for you too.

- Use your phone to hotspot an internet connection for the game, and let it download on that for a little bit. I used mine to download a few hundred MB, past the point where it normally stopped, then reconnected the xbox to my house wifi - just carried on
downloading as normal after.

try starting the download/install then pause it, wait a few minutes then resume the download.

I had to do this a few times to install NMS as the download speed kept dropping or stopping but pausing and resuming got it to download in the end
