Issue installing disc game

Hi DustinBrown8, I hope you're doing great out there despite the issue that you're experiencing. I am an Independent advisor and I am here to help you in regards to your concern.

In this case, kindly install the games digitally through your Xbox App, and once fully installed you can then insert the disc to play the games.

On your mobile device, launch the Xbox App then search for the game, once done click the game and you should see "Download to console".

Pretty much this, if that error pops up on screen either an issue with the game disc or the disc drive

Try installing the game to the HD, if it fails to install then its an issue with the disc and it needs a repair. If it does install then the game will run off the HD after the disc verification is done and you shouldnt hit the issue in the game

If other game discs are installing fine then that means, it is an issue with your disc.

So i had the same issue as well and if you put the game disc instead of the install disc it will install and work the install disc is no longer working found out the hard way it has a 16gb update to adapt the xbox one but only when u insert the game disc itself not the install disc. Hope this helps

I assume you are installing from Disc. Could be an issue with the disc itself. Do you have a friend that has the game where you could swap discs for the install. Even if the disc won't install, when you swap back, it should still be good enough to start
the game after it's installed.
