Have you already purchased Overwatch? If so, simply head over to your 'Ready to install' list within 'My games & apps' to find the appropriate version you can play. If not, the version you can purchase is Overwatch: Game of the Year Edition.

Are they 2 different games? my son was told to buy overwatch origins but there is no download option

Try another headset:

• See if issue persists, if you are using different headset.
  

Check the audio and mic settings for both apps.

• On Discord settings > Voice & Video tab > Advance section > disable Exclusive Mode > then save.
  
• On Overwatch 2 application, make sure that the correct microphone is selected as the default recording device.
  
• Restart both the Discord and Overwatch 2 and try using the microphone again.
