Issue downloading game - Keeps restarting at 80%

A couple of days ago I bought Fable Trilogy for my 360. Whenever it gets to 80% loaded it resets and starts downloading again.

I haven't moved house in years and have downloaded many a game in the past without issue including one two weeks ago. I have tried deleting the game and then reloading, I have also tried deleting the cache. My region has not changed, I have only ever lived
and played my xbox in the UK for many a year now so that cannot be the problem. Any ideas on how to solve this???

Army of TWO Xbox 360 live gold region problem

I cant download army of two either, i get to 80% and it keeps restarting. In my game library it has a yellow exclamation mark next to the game. Now i cant download anything else it just stops at 80% and then restarts.

I already did that. I even formatted my whole hard-drive in the Xbox and downloaded my profile anew..

I did it again though and am trying to re-download it now.. if it doesn't work again... I don't know what to do anymore.

 

Try clearing the cache

Delete your profile (Make sure you know the email and password)

Re-download it (The profile)

Clear the cache three times, Then try to download the game

I´m having the same problem with DiRT3 and Gears of War. It stucks at 72%, tried about ten times already. Tried to download it on a pen drive either, but no success. My region has not changed, and I've been able to download other stuff like apps and demos.
Plenty of space on Hard disk. I tried exactly these steps above (Probadcop999) and still can't get the game! Please, if anyone can help with any other ideas, or if it worked for you, FuzzyTerraNova, let me know. Xbox support guys, read this, please!!!!!

 

Will it download any other games?

Are you able to play on Live?

Have you deleted the partial downloads before re-downloading it again? (to do so)

Go to settings, then select System.

Select Storage, and then select your storage device.

Select the content type that you’re trying to download.

Find the item that you are trying to download (may appear with a yellow warning icon).

If the item is listed, select the item, and then select Delete.

Try disconnecting from the network (or Ethernet) turn off your Xbox, Wait 30 seconds then turn it back on and reconnect to try the download again

Also if you're using wireless try a wired connection to download it.

 

Yes to all...The only thing I didn't do yet is use a wired connection, although I don't think that's the problem, because the download doesn't stop whenever the network is too busy, but always at the same percentage of conclusion. It's too weird. But, hey,
I'll deal with it like any windows based system, and try every absurd alternative to make it work. And pray.

It seems like some peoples solution was deleting the marketplace data, Have you done that?

On your console, go to settings, and then select System.

Select Storage, and then select your primary storage device.

Select System Items.

Select Marketplace System Data.

Select Delete.

Restart your console.

Try to buy or download the item again.

Is it virgin media or sky broadband?

OK you have two options first the quick fix turn off your modem and router for 5 mins (or longer not shorter)

If a voip gateway you need to contact your isp for modem reset

2nd you can also Try a friends house

Then contact your isp after to get help with downloading content

A dns reset usually helps

 

The Fable Trilogy bundle is straight up broken. If you're having issues with it, contact support for a refund. Everyone seems to be having the same issue with this pack. I've been in talks with xbox for over ten days trying to get it working with zero results.

 

I haven't checked yet, but I was told I've been issued a refund. I was also told that the powers that be are "stressed out by all the issues with the bundle". At least they're paid to deal with it. So, I'm bummed that I don't have the Fable Anniversary,
but at least I'm getting my money back. I was told it was a one time deal, like I was getting special treatment for a game that worked and that I bought by mistake, instead of like they pawned off a poorly tested game on me that I rightly deserve a refund
for. Whatevs.

 

Having the same problem with DiRT3 and tried everything, including deleting the marketplace data. I also commented the lack of consideration with the xbox users and my comment was deleted. Well, folks, by a PS if you can. 'Cause if you, like me, have to
choice but to stuck with XBOX, you may have noticed that the xbox lack of support is stimulating piracy.
