1. Reinstall the Xbox app

2. Make sure the Xbox services are running on your system:

Press Windows + R, type services.msc, and press Enter.

Ensure the following services are Running and their Startup Type is set to Automatic:

-Gaming Services

-Xbox Live Auth Manager

-Xbox Live Game Save

-Xbox Live Networking Service

3. Try with a new local Windows account:

Sometimes, the user profile has broken permissions. Creating a new local account and trying the download from there can help rule out that issue.

4. I recommend testing with a different network (for example, sharing mobile data) to see if the problem is network-related.

download the xbox app and sign in with your account that has gamepass pc, then download the games from gamepass pc.

If games from the gamepass act weird and buggy, you can download from the MS on PC instead. Gamepass is still in beta, and will act weird at times. It would be good if you reported any issues too, which can be done by the feedback link in your profile
picture in the app.
