Issue after trying to update controller

hey, i tried updating my controller and the cord bumped out and when i tried to restart it the controller wouldnt turn on, it suggested taking out the batteries so i did that but it still did work, so i have no idea why but my controller wont turn on

DESPERATE for help !

try updating the firmware on your controller. if you haven't this could be your issue. the one controllers do not support attachments out of the box, you have to update.

Xbox one controller cuts out/disconnects

Are there any solutions to this issue yet? It seems that after the July update, and controller firmware update, I've started having this issue. The controller will constantly disconnect after 15-20 mins without fail. I've been fine until the last updates.
It's getting ridiculous after a month or so of this issue.

Any solutions yet?

Once you take the batteries leave your Xbox One controller plugged in, it may take a bit of time but eventually it should turn on. Let us know how it goes!

Not sure if this will have any impact on the issue you are having but have you tried doing a hard reset on the console? Hold the power button on the front of the console for 10 seconds or until it powers down completely then let it set a couple of minutes,
restart the console and test. Let us know if this helps at all. Good Luck!

Look, try to hard reset the console. Then, change your batteries for a newer ones in your controller. After that, try syncing the controller to the consolle wireless again.

After, update your controller

Settings > devices > controllers and update it.

That should be having you out of the problem.
