Is your "enforcement" system a joke?

I recently made a comment on a post stating my opinion on Fortnite, I dislike Fortnite, the next morning I get a message saying "Notice of Enforcement" and now I can not post comments on posts. Do you really take time to look over the comment, or do you
just ban anyone who gets enough reports? I know I was probably reported many times for "not liking fortnite." Like it's a whole new rule, "Like fortnite or get an enforcement action."

XBOX LIVE ENFORCEMENT IS A POOR SYSTEM

This is system is seriously flawed when it comes to children.

For one, the bar for complaints is super low. The vast majority of reasons I've observed are petty, especially for younger children. I overheard on several occasions his friends bandy about the threat of filing a complaint for almost always silly reasons.
My son was just suspended for a reason he doesn't even understand.

This brings me to my second issue. If the reason for enforcement is to correct behavior, then this system fails miserably. Neither the accuser or nor the specifics of the complaint are provided. This means no one can know what they did wrong and they can't
reach out to their accuser to reach an understanding. So someone can anonymously hide behind a false complaint against someone they don't like. This simply encourages kids to lash out without communicating with their friends or their parents first.

Now he has a record of a complaint for an unjustified reason and we don't even know who filed the complaint. I believe I have the right to know which one of his friends or friends' associates is making the complaint so I can have a discussion with his parents.
I don't want my child playing with that other child online if he's going to falsely report my son, deprive him of playtime with his other friends and tarnish his online record.

I don't believe Microsoft has the moral authority to make these decisions between children. Microsoft should not allow children to make complaints directly. Ideally, children need to bring up their complaints directly with their parents or their friends
but if they file a complaint through Xbox Live then Microsoft needs to notify both parents first and allow them to handle it. If there are repeated complaints that are VALIDATED, then you can start some enforcement. YOU ARE NOT PARENTS MICROSOFT.

The enforcement team do not use the forums.

A email is always sent to the address linked to the suspended account telling you why you are suspended & how long for.

You can go to the enforcement site
https://enforcement.xbox.com/en-GB to see any enforcement action on your account & file for a case review if eligible.

Any report filed is thoroughly investigated before any action is taken,you do not get suspended due to false reports.In fact anyone abusing the reporting system risks being suspended themselves.

As per the ToU/CoC you agree to when starting a account you will never be told who has reported you.

The forums are not a place to rant. If you do not like Fortnite you would be better consulting with Epic games, the developers of Fortnite.

You can dislike the game all you want and say that, but if you have curse words or other offensive words you’ll get suspended.

 

Not ranting about Fortnite at all, I'm complaining about Xbox Live not knowing what they do before they do it
