    Is xbox troubleshoot stored in hdd?


    My hdd failed (I think( and I can't access the troubleshoot it either, but the hard drive starts working at certain times and I will be able to play for like 2 days then it fails again and I won't be able to even access the troubleshoot. Is this a hdd problem?

    External hard drive

    Get a HDD instead i personally only use the non HDD memory for xbox live updates and storing my gamertag seeing as it is barely any memory at all and you need a HDD for most things.

    - A 360 HDD can store up to 32 gamertags/profiles. USB Memory Units can only store 8 gamertags/profiles.

    - Certain DLC requires a HDD and will not install to a USB Memory Unit.

    - Certain games require a HDD to function, or to enable some functionality.

    - Original XBOX games require a HDD to operate (the 2GB XBOX cache partition is stored on the HDD and is not available on a USB memory Unit)



    I believe that's all of the the major differences between the two.

    That and you need the emulator

    You can use any external hdd to store games BUT you need the original xbox 360 hdd for the emulator to run them
