is Xbox one x able to run xbox scarlett games?

I don't think that the Xbox One series of consoles (slim, X, ect.) Will be able to run Xbox Scarlett games, considering how it's supposed to be the next generation of consoles.

The Xbox Scarlett on the other hand will most likely be able to play most Xbox One games through Backwards compatability much like how the Xbox One can play Xbox 360 games, but the Xbox 360 can't play Xbox One games.

If money isn't much of an issue I would probably suggest upgrading to an Xbox One X, since Xbox Scarlett isn't coming out for a while as far as I know.

As an original Xbox One owner, I'm waiting at least for the Scarlett. In my opinion, the X seems great; however, I held off on getting it because both systems play the same games.

I realize that Scarlett games will be playable on the X (and original Xbox One) for awhile. I'm just curious if eventually there will be games that will only run on the Scarlett (and PC), or how bad newer releases will run on the original Xbox One.

I honestly doubt it since the Scarlett will be far more powerful, but I can see Microsoft creating current & next Gen versions of future games so people who can't upgrade right away don't get left behind.

Because there is going to be such a massive leap from processor architecture between the Jaguar cores in the Xbox One to the Zen 2 in Scarlett, as well as the low level control over SSD control - it’s pretty unlikely.

It has been confirmed that accessories like controllers and headsets will be compatible with Scarlett, and once xCloud runs Scarlett I’m sure the One X will work as a client for that, but unless they massively change how game version are developed,

as I know did Microsoft confirms that its next-generation Xbox console, Project Scarlett, will be backward compatible with all Xbox Generations.

In a press release, Microsoft explained that the power of Xbox Project Scarlett will mean that "Thousands of games across four console generations will look and play best on Project Scarlett." This sentence and the language used in the Project Scarlett announcement
trailer, about still being able to play with friends on older games or older Xbox consoles, seem to confirm full backward compatibility. Microsoft may not have confirmed how many games on each of these consoles will be supported, or if it's all Xbox games,
"thousands" would suggest that the company has most if not all bases covered.
