Is Xbox One Controller of Poor Quality?

My sticks are quickly losing there snap, I dont like it, I paid enough money on controllers with the 360 an this one is very cheaply made, not to mention some games still do not have the ability to SHUT off the useless rumble pack, my older controller has
its wires cut out, on the old 360 you could easily open the controller an take them out, not on this one. I bought a controller for my PC now that is a solid controller, the only problem I have is the design its more like the playstations made for small people.

 

I have the same problem as the OP, never had these with my 360 controller.

 

I've have gone through 2 xbox one controllers in less then a year. Ten months to be exact. For one the charging ports suck. Not made to play and charge at same time unless you're one to not move around much. Secondly, the bumpers lack any feel of pressure
sensitivity and don't take abuse very well. Then there is the left stick issue floating in a certain direction. I have a 360 controller that is 2 years old and has not a single problem with some where around 1900 hours on it. The only thing better I see with
new controllers is the hiding of the battery. Very displeased.

 

Both the Xbone and Ps4 have highly questionable build quality to their controllers

 

I'm still using my day one controller daily without issues, no drifting yet, nothing popping off, only places it shows wear is around the buttons is starting to look a little shiny, but I do hate trying to plug in the charging cable with the lights off,
that's a little challenging, but no issues remaining connected.

Frankly, the 360 controller feels higher quality, but I'd go through one every year from the thumb sticks wearing out.

 

Might be just the first batch of controllers as my black one feels flimsy and has stuck issues but my green camo one feels solid and better built.

 

Not the controller for me it's the battery from the Plug and play no longer holds a charge came the same day as my day one. Got to buy a new one now or I have to have the controller wired.

 

I own 2 that I've had since launch and no issues. My kids also have 2 controllers as well. They tend to throw them and those are still working fine.

 

I know the mic is cheapest turd they've handed you thus far!

I think its poor quality and thats not fair paying 500 usd for such quality built . even if it was the joystick.
