Is Xbox One Controller of Poor Quality?

I got my One at Christmas last year but it was not a "Day One" edition. I too was disappointed in the controller as I thought it felt cheap and it whistled when it rumbled. I have since bought a Titanfall controller and a CoD AW controller and it feels
like the build quality is better. Just something about the fit and finish of the controller that ships with the console is off IMO.

Xbox one controller - exceptionally poor quality?

Just bought an xbox one this weekend, but much to my chagrin, the controller is of extremely poor quality. Half the controller seems loose and clicks when I apply slight pressure. Has anyone experienced extremely poor quality with xbox one controllers, or
am I standing alone on this one? It doesn't seem nearly as solid as the xbox 360 controller :-(

The Xbox One controller feels flimsy and of poor quality. Furthermore the texture of it is terrible,

 

yeah I dont like the way my older controller creaks an practically crumbles in my hands, very cheaply made.

 

It's plastic, what you expect? ^-^

They invested millions in the design of the Xbox 1 controller. It's lighter and sleeker than the 360 controller, but it does feel more fragile than the 360 controller since they decided to make it compact rather than a behemoth. The controller fits excellently
in my hands, but a bit concerned at how VIOLENTLY it VIABRATES. This controller is crazy! But it functions well. I don't have chubby hands accessing all the buttons/triggers on the controller is sweet and no hassle for me. And since I got the Day 1 Edition....
Thanks Microsoft for autographing my controller for me, you rock, "Day One 2013" no I didn't go to Google Images and print one off, Microsoft manufactured it that way.

 

I've thrown it on my bed, and on the carpet floor several times. Still in tact. I'm not one of those peps who do strength tests of the gorilla glass on Samsung S5 with a hammer and knife and drop it down on some harsh outside concrete paving ground, and
do a strength test on the Xbox 1 controller.

 

It's about the same exact sizes the 360 controller, I have them both here and they are almost identical. The reason they feel cheaper is because the back and faceplate are only clipped together. The 360 controller has 6 torn screws holding it tightly together.

I've never felt a plastic controller feel like it was going to crumble in my hand. The day one controller does.

 

i have an original black controller and a titanfall one and the TF one feels much better than the standard one. both still working completely though

 

I had to get a new controller because "Click to run" wouldn't always engage.

 

I've dropped my controller on the floor by accident so many times you'd think it would break, but nope, still works perfectly.

 

Can't say I've had any problems with my two. Even my special edition Titanfall one which has hit the tiled floor too many times, sometimes on purpose, has had no dramas. The only problem I'm ever having is that it disconnects randomly at times but I havnt
updated it in a while so that could be it!

 

My controller works fine but them again i dont rage throw thing like some people.

 

No you just uninstall the game and defriend people!

 

The only game i uninstall was BF4.
