Is Xbox One, and Xbox App Beta in PC linked? Achievements wise.

Is Xbox One, and Xbox App Beta in PC linked? Achievements wise. I know the games are linked, though there are some missing probably because it's beta. Infact almost all for me.

But the question is, is it linked? As in if I buy the game in Xbox App Beta, and play that on PC using that Xbox App, then will I still get achievement for that game in Xbox One like Killer Instinct? And if I do then what about the game that's in Xbox App,
but not in Xbox One like Age of Empires 2? Hope that made sense. Lol XD

The achievements don't unlock twice (one on PC and one on Xbox).

If you unlock an achievement in AoE 2, then it would still count towards your Gamerscore.

Games like Killer Instinct are part of the Xbox Play Anywhere program, which means they share saves / progress, add-ons, and achievements.

Ok. Thank you. What about Age of Empires 2 achievements that's in Xbox App, but not Xbox App? Will I get a achievement for that in Xbox One as well, or no?

That link is for issues on an Xbox One X console, this issue is an issue with the new Xbox (Beta) app for PC

The xbox app you can now download, is the one linked with the new gamepass for PC still in beta version. The old xbox app has now a different name and should be already installed in a W10 system.

Look for an app named "companion console xbox" which is the new bname of the old app you're looking for.
