Is Xbox live for 360 having problems or is it just me?

i tried to play today with my xbox 360 and still need update but now i can see my profile again, but show i am online but when i try to play they disconnect and say i need to update , of course this is a problem with xbox 360 live connection, because the
xbox 360 device work everything without the online . but just when going online , they go online but disconnected next . and the update not accept no because have a problem with the Xbox 360 device , but have a problem with xbox 360 live system. today the
update give me a new code error 42FE - 0000 - D080 - 0200 - 8007 - 045D

I WISH THE SySTEM COME BACK TO NORMAL. AND XBOX 360 LIVE SySTEM FIX THIS AS QUICK AS POSSIBLE.

Excuse me for a living that no way to help me out with my problems on my xbox 360 and for the rest of 2013 I won't be playing my xbox 360 until this problem sxolved.

I am having a similar problem. Doesn't seem to be a DNS settings issue because it does connect sometimes. It is just spotty tonight. Rare that I ever have a problem though..

I notice there is a Live alert status for Xbox One users, but I'm having that problem on 360. That made me decide to write in.

I'm having the same issue on Xbox 360 in Oregon. Both profiles in the bedroom have matchmaking problems 99/100 times. Sometimes it works fine. But the same router runs my 360 in the living room and there are no problems. I just bought another year of
XBL and it's just getting wasted with this problem that Xbox seems to be keeping quiet.

I have 2 xbox ones and can play and log into xbox live on the 360 side of things just fine, so it' not a router setting. However, if I try to log into my most used xbox gamertag and play gears 2 on the other xbox one, it tells me that it cannot log into
xbox live and to download the gamertag again...I have done this a number of times and still no log into live on the 360 emulated side...I can log into xbox live on my xbox one no problem though.
