Is XBox LIVE Fixed Yet?

It shouldn't matter how many players there are.... isn't "the cloud" meant to expand the number of available servers for a game automatically as need arises?

If the launch of one game in one region causes a 6hr window where people can't log into LIVE, imagine what'd happen if it was a global release, or 2 big games were out on the same day...

Totally agree, it shouldn't happen but the cynic in me always expects some sort of issues especially with a big release like this.

I heard so many different stories yesterday though, wasn't a Titanfall issue but Xbox Live itself ( signing in problem ) but only in the last few hours I've seen it mentioned that PC gamers had issues with Titanfall which is now apparently ok.

At the very least they seem to be keeping on top of the problems, still not ideal but it doesn't look anywhere as near as bad as we saw on BF4.

Can't play Plants vs Zombies if you can't sign in.

 

I have had a few issues, where I can be signed in the following has happened when playing Forza and Battlefield. The connection to live disappears, so I check the settings and it shows not connected.

So I set up a wireless network, prompts me for the hub password, sometimes it connects and other times it doesn't, asking me for the password again as cant connect. Has only been doing this for the last couple of days, it is very frustrating.

So I restart the ONE and sometimes it will sign me in and other times not.

The network is fine as I am connected on a laptop ?.

 

Enzo who is your ISP i know some virgin customers were having issues with home hub the last few days something the updated in the software for the home hub wasnt connecting to xbox wirelessly

 

I couldn't sign in at all last night on my Xbox one but could sign in on the Xbox 360 no problem

 

I am with BT, just seems to be very random as if you get logged in or not, or get disconnected. So frustrating as can be having a good game and I get logged out. Not sure what has changed, but I hope it gets sorted soon.

 

I'm with Virgin but support acknowledged that there was a problem with LIVE yesterday on the ONE.

Got home today, turned the XBox on and everything worked fine.

Yup this was a huge pain to many users but it was addressed and as stated, if you still have issues then just power cycle and it should fix the problem. Lets hope it doesn't happen again on our Titanfall release day eh

 

Well I am still having issues, if I am connected wireless the connection drops, if connected wired then it is fine.

This is a real pain as I am not able to leave it on a wired connection.

I power down my ONE every night and have even tried the power cycle to no avail

 

Im going to suggest changing the channel your wifi broadcasts on it maybe that there is to much interference on the channel you are currently on

 

well I rebooted the BT hub 5 and it worked for about 30 minutes wireless. It lost its connection and then when I went to set up a wireless connection, it couldn't even find the hub, then got the message that there was a problem with the wireless in the ONE.
Restarted again and it logged in first time.

It is so frustrating as it is not the same thing every time.

I did talk to support and they were not the best.

How do you change the channel for wifi ?

 

You'll have to access your router via the web, use google for specific instructions for your router

When you say you spoke to Support, did you mean BT or Xbox Support?

I ask because a few months back my laptop use to drop signal sometimes ( wireless/Hub 5) everything else was fine. I spoke to BT, they ran some line tests, no faults but all they could put it down to was some kind of interference, whilst on the phone they
changed the channel and I believe increased the signal somehow, all in all I was on the phone 15 minutes and problem solved, be worth a try.

 

It was xbox support, I hope that it is something simple, as this is becoming a pain, especially as I have Titanfall which as we all know is online.
