    Hello, Im purchasing a USB Razer Electra V2 headset and was wondering whether or not this headset is compatible with the xbox one. I have had previous headsets with the problem of them not being compatible.

    To add to this answer while I understand you are thinking about buying the USB version of this headset and if you're using it on a PC I could see the draw. If you were to purchase the 3.5mm version then according to the Razer support page for the 3.55mm
    version:

    Hi there,

    Yeah as a Razer Kraken USB owner I can confirm a USB version will not work. Only 3.5mm Jack headsets work on Xbox One. FYI I have even seen wireless headsets claiming to work on Xbox One don't believe those either, as they are still USB connectivity for
    the wireless dongle.
