Is there a chance for Tony Hawk games to become backwards compatible?

More or less. Your best bet is to reach out to the developers and producers of the games.

I was a big fan of the Tony Hawk franchise back in the day. Mind you, I really only played Tony Hawk's Pro Skater on the PlayStation, and Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 2 on the Dreamcast. Good times.

 

I got it on the Ps4, only due to the controller and position of the Dpad. I'm a huge fan of the series and I'm loving it, it plays fine and I haven't had problems with it.

 

I bought it on PS4 as well, it wasn't as bad as everyone made it out to be until about halfway though the game the missons kept bugging out and prevented me to get any further lol.

I ended up taking it back and getting Dying Light instead. Not even mad.

Even with it working was probably my least favorite of the series, but hey maybe since the SKATE forums are being spammed now we'll finally get a Skate 4.

 

Got it on xbox one & am loving it.Controls more like the old Tony Hawk games.

It won't win any awards for graphics but i'm having fun with it,would take this over the Skate games any day,just find them boring.

 

^ I also find Skate boring, I just didn't really want to mention it because it is a well written series as far as programming is concerned. I just love the older THPS games and the crazy arcade combo's, I find THPS 5 to be just right for me.

 

Was thinking about picking it up. I really love the old games. I'm trying to ignore the reviews. It can't really be that bad right? Some outlets are calling is a glitchy mess.

 

I wouldn't touch it. This game should never have been released. I loved project 8

 

I'm enjoying it. People are just jumping on the hate bandwagon. Most people trashing it haven't played it.

 

Correct I haven't played it and I won't when I hear a game crashes over 60 times.

 

Skateboarding is still relevant ?

 

My copy hasn't crashed once.

 

It's might be in the top 5. Its above Godzilla the game and ,Spongebob hero pants.

 

Well you 2 are extremely lucky because there are more people reporting crashes/ clipping and textures that take seconds to load.
