Is Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege Priced to high?

Personally I much prefer MP over campaign, throughout the COD's I have player I have never completed a campaign and only every just done a few missions while servers are down.

Linear campaigns and rubbish AI just aren't a challange or fun IMO.

 

Here's my deal ,I dont really care about a SP campaign so much as I do being able to play against bots offline in ANY mode ( looking at you EAFront >. I love MP gamestyles but HATE playing with humans ( benefits of being a misanthropic *** ). After the outcry
and backlash from the EAFront I am not alone as I used to feel.

 

This game has dustbin sale written all over it. I used to love the Rainbow Six games, but Ubisoft has gone completely off the rails lately with that overrated pap they keep pushing on players. I wouldn't pay $10 for this, considering how little content
there is.

 

I recently picked this up while it was cheap here in the UK on recommendation from a good mate, I have to say I'm not disappointed at all, yes it's mainly online only but you can play "situations" lone wolf, it is immense fun when you are successful on a
mission and I have to say it probably one of the best tactical shooters I've played in a while.

Terrorist hunt can also be played alone and it incredibly tense when doing so, with a group it's great fun.

Glad I picked it up as I hadn't even considered it before my mate said about it.

 

Yes, I'm not paying $60 for a game that only offers online multiplayer. $25 or less is the more appropriate price for a game like this.

It was on hotukdeals the other day from Simply Games mate for £37 then I used some credit I had to bring it down to £30, not that cheap I know, it seems to be holding its price pretty steadily at the moment so I consider it to be cheap

I may be wrong here but I'm sure they said this game was going to get free maps in the future so it may be worth taking that into account when people are looking at the price.

 

I am just a cheap skate I still think £37 is to high lol

 

You know what I am sick of, the fact that every game now just becasue its a new game is automatically set to $60, why was EAFront the same price as Fallout 4 ? EAFront should have been $30 at the very most but no its a new game so it must be worth $60.

Perceived value to the casuals. Mom, Pop, and Jr., would see a $29.00 game and assume is was either old or not on par with games priced higher/equal.

^^^ now that is a good deal, but they make it a little hard to sort it, but at least its amazon whos customer service is goodish.

Also on the hot uk deals site you can get siege from the Columbia MS store for about £30.

 

personally id rather buy rainbow six siege at price than any call of duty game BUT cod2/4, black ops 3 is terrible at a 59.99 USD price point. its 79.99 in canada, that low quality of a game should be priced around 19.99-29.99

 

Blops 3 is rife with content and is actually pretty good man. Considering they lowered the price to $40 now its even more of a steal. Dont bash on CoD just because its trendy, they really did a fantastic job with this one,really. Not really sure how you
think Blops 3 is low quality, really puzzled on that one.

 

Siege has IMO significantly less developement needed compared the COD TBH, COD has a campaign, zombies and MP, all of which are different and take a fair bit of work, Siege has one concept that it, hence the thread.
