Is Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege Priced to high?

I don't think there will be a point buying it in a month as the player base will be gone, at that price it certainly wont be massive to start with IMO.

Accidentally deleted XBOX 360 game redemption code

I bought a Rainbow Six siege , but accidentally deleted compatible Xbox 360 game code message, Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Vegas and Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Vegas 2 , Can recover deleted game code message for me?

 

It is overpriced. When the player base goes down it will be put on sale (possible future deals with gold canidate) in an attempt to get some players back. That's just my opinion.

 

While I agree with you Goth, I was wondering does that work? I mean the games main play time has moved (since its MP based, mainly), surely it would have been better to think about a lower starting price, leading to a bigger starting population which may
be retained. I guess I will never know.

 

I really enjoyed the alpha and beta but like you was put off by the price tag

I feel like its one of those games that if i dont get it now then the player base will be all but gone but i just dont want to spend that money, especially when i have several other games still in the wrapper!

 

I enjoyed the latest beta but I wont buy this until I see it fairly cheap.

 

@Reidzer, do you not think it will be to late by them? if the player base will fall off after launch, which is guaranteed.

 

It's €69.99 here. I'm gonna pass. It has no singleplayer plus it'll be dead in a month.

 

yeah i also think there asking too much, i was put off by the price and the fact there is no campaign. I would have bought it if it followed a similar mold to the vegas games, i guess with rainbow i got used to having a campaign as well as the mp modes and
terrorist hunt, since the campaign is gone so am i. I would have been interested at say £20 but i now share the concerns mentioned here regarding the user base. I will end by saying i was fine with titanfall not having a campaign as i didnt expect one, but
rainbow without a campaign is a deal breaker for me since ive come to expect one.

 

So how much of this game can I play single player ? I know terrorist hunt but what else ? this new trend of online MP only is really starting to grate on my nerves! if this is how gaming is going to be then count me out.

 

"Rainbow Six" Has always sounded like the name of a Boys Only club to me. So I cant take the series too seriously, however I have played Vegas 2 recently.

 

If the game is online only with no campaign and hardly any content then yes it is in personal opinion. Others seem to be copying what Activision and Bungie did with Destiny. Sell the game full price with hardly any content then charge extra down the line
for "new" content.

 

I do think there is a trend of launching games not evaluating the content and pricing accordingly, titanfall IMO did a good job of addressing the balance, destiny was a little different as it stemmed from issues in the company and management issues, however
it could have been address all year one and they decided instead to milk its user base, however I would compare this more to titanfall, however I think they are milking the brand and forgetting about the userbase.

I have heard a few streamers suggesting they are looking at a counter strike type audience, however CS is very cheap in comparison and has build a user base over time, I would think the PR bods would be looking at building the best player base possible but
it seems quick return is king to big business.

 

I hope this games fails and fails miserably so maybe developers will think that MP only is not the best idea.
