Is This True???

Just started playing DR3 and loving it so far. I just want to confirm 3 things before I drive myself crazy:

1) You cannot crouch / sneak / take cover

2) You cannot close doors, only open them

3) You cannot reload any gun, or pick up any ammo

As I said, I am loving everything about this game, but these are 3 things that have been getting under my skin, and if there is no way to do them I just want to know so that I can accept it and move on with enjoying the game ... but seriously, you can't close
a door even in a safe house? Even DR1 had this ability. How safe can a safehouse be if zombies can just walk right in?

No complaints from micro soft ever!! Yeah i had red ring once but the support they gave me to get it fixed was simple and great..

 

1. You really can't crouch or sneak OR take cover

2. True you can only open doors, not a problem for safehouses because ALL of them require you to jump up to or onto something (something zombies can't do). Sucks for when you go into a normal building though such as the buffet

3. All guns ONLY have the ammo in them ONE CLIP, no reloading and no adding ammo thru pickups, sucks if you want to use a gun tho becuase without all the perks you have very little ammo and you have to take up all your inventory slots just to take out a
small horde

Hope this helps, these things aren't exactly game breaking but sort of take the immersion out of the game, because in real life why would you need 7 or 8 different slots for the same gun, and why drop it when its empty? Just throw in another clip

 

Thanks for the confirmation Dazed! I agree, it does mess up the immersion a bit, but these things won't keep me from enjoying the game. I'll just have to grab those ammo perks after all. Thanks!

 

why would you want to crouch/take cover? And as far as ammos concerned, check this out, get yourself a handgun an a flashlight, use handgun till you only have a couple shots left, combine HG with Flashlight, POOF tac handgun with 60 more rounds. In my opinion,
the ddevs don't want you to rely on guns, with soooo many weapon combinations available, just using guns would take away from the frantic craziness.

 

The game is a must play, regardless of the lack of features you inquired about.

 

1) No, you can't crouch, sneak, or take cover.

2) I don't recall being able to close doors, but zombies will not enter safe houses.

3) There is no need to reload any guns. Although you can't pick up ammo, you can pick up new guns. I always try to use up the gun with the lowest ammo first.
