Is this normal for xbox one x?

I don't seem to have very good luck with consoles. I got an xbox one x from walmart and it looked questionable like it had been opened but I tried it anyway and had some issues. Then I got an X from best buy and it seems to have some issues too. The
thing is, I don't know if this is normal for an xbox one x. It seems when I first turn it on, it sometimes highlights the top of the home menu. Another thing is when I redeem a code, it seems to suggest some weird things that look like gibberish. Is this
normal? Should I send this in for repairs?

Thank you. This is helpful. So what you’re saying is it isnt defective? Because this appears to be the only abnormality.

This isnt really normal, but it is sometimes what happens when you're enrolled into the insider program too.

But to have the predictive text at the top of that bar isnt really a problem. Also all the code keys will automatically go capital Letters for you

Right now, this is the only issue im having with the console. I dont even know if its an issue i just wanna know if these suggestions in all caps for a code is normal to see.

Thank you for posting on the Xbox forums. We understand that your cursor is not where you expect it when the console gets to the home screen, and you are interested in learning why your keyboard on the console is predicting code entries. Is your console
enrolled in the
Xbox Insider Program? We recommend
power cycling the console by holding down the power button on the console for ten seconds.

The Xbox keyboard does use predictive text when you are typing. Have you entered prepaid codes on your account before? The console may be predicting old codes that you have previously entered. Generally, the console will automatically highlight the
large pin from the last application that was used with your profile. We suggest
checking your console for any updates. Be sure to let us know the results xbxgmr24!

I would be very surprised if it was predicting old codes that have previously been entered.
