    Is this normal for XBOX 360's?


    Is it normal, when you play a game ALOT, it to look kinda scratched up? My GTA V, and Black ops 2 both look kinda scratched up. Not like, INSANE THREW ON GROUND AND THEN STEPPED ON damage, just like, it looks a bit scratched. Black ops 2 sometimes doesn't
    even read.

    That's not normal.Granted i install all my games now but before i did i never had a disc get sctatched by playing it a lot.

    Think your disc drive is on it's way out.

    Is your console on a sturdy level surface?

    If you are swapping discs a lot they will always pick up slight marks,i know mine always do.

    Yep like the poster above says if u switch out a lot u will get scratches.

    The thing is the disk tray scratches them up pretty good no matter how careful you are. As long as there not deep it will be fine.

    There were a few people back a few years back that were getting complete scratch circles on there disks. They were very rare.

    Bacon, provided your console has the hard drive space, when you're on the dashboard, you should hit "X" (I think) to view game details. When this comes up, the option to "Install" should be available. It takes a little while for the games to install, but
    it's well worth it.

    But doesn't that take up more memory? My console came with 320GB, and I want that 320GB to last me. Also, when I first got the Xbox I did switch between BO2 and GTA V quite often, which might explain SOME scratches on the disc of BO2 same for GTA V. I don't
    switch them as often, and my Minecraft, GTA IV Complete Edition (It's GTA IV, The ballad of *** tony and The lost and the damned.) and Skate 3 have virtually no scratches.

    If you want your console to last you should always install your games.

    There is nothing stopping you deleting the install at a later date.
