Hi, I've run into this issue a few times when playing Forza 6 where the graphics do not seem to load. I used a 7200 rpm external that is only 4 months old. It hugely improved loading times.

Is this caused by my video card or mobo going out?

Xbox One High Pitched Beeping

That issue can be caused by a malfunction of the disc drive or the fan. In both cases it means a hardware issue and I suggest you to send that console for repairs:

That is an odd glitch. More than likely it's an in game bug. However, can you please try power cycling the console by holding the power button on it for 10 seconds until it shuts down to see if that helps?

I tried this. I will see if it comes back I have noticed some stuttering as well, usually lag is one person or vehicle around you but in my situation the whole picture, track car etc. were all stuttering. This is only occurring part of the time. I Was wondering
if it was maybe my video card struggling or my harddrive not keeping up. I wish there was a way to diagnose it.

Usually this is caused by a full cache. A restart such as I suggested can fix the issue. But I could be wrong which is why I suggested posting back if it recurs.

I eventually got in to work with the help of an Xbox expert. My external hard drive was malfunctioning and that was causing the problem.

A few things. All hardware is prone to malfunction. Look at reviews for laptops and desktop hardware components on Newegg. It always seems that hardware is malfunctioning.

Back to your issue. You are one of the unlucky few to have an issue. The Xbox 360 S has solved the issues. Anyway, you have an E68 error. Which is an extremely rare error for an Xbox 360, even the original launch consoles. The E68 error is an error with the
Harddrive. Check to make sure the HDD is properly connected. It may be an internal connection issue or overheating of the harddrive which in that case either go back to the retailer or setup a repair with Microsoft, you are under a 1 year warranty.

It may be that all you need is a new HDD. However, purchasing one on you own is expensive, hence taking advantage of the warranty.
