    Is this correct


    Everytime I try to load a new game it needs to update that game then it takes a very long time to do that. I started to load Halo 5 yesterday and had to pause it last night to watch Netflix. It also hogs my it connection. Is this normal, or is my console
    faulty?

    If there are long breaks between each time you play, then yes it is very possible that there will be a new title update by the time you return to it. The speed of the downloads will depend on your home internet connection.

    What you can do is in Settings go to Power & Startup > Power Mode & Startup and change your console to Instant On and enable "Automatically download updates and purchases" which will download these title updates (and dashboard updates) overnight, when you're
    less likely to be using your console. Your console will also be faster to boot up. However, the downside is that this energy state will also draw more power.
