    is this against the rules?


    I need to know if this is against the rules? If I use the windows 10 Xbox one (Beta) app and save a custom image to my game Xbox one DVR then I go to my club and set it as a background is that against the rules? I wanted to ask first before I tried it. I
    learned this off YouTube so I also contact Microsoft support and they didn't really have a answer they lady just said that it sounds like a new feature for the Xbox one beta app for windows 10 and should be ok.
    But I need to find out officially if its ok or not ok because I don't want get in trouble for something that I was told was ok but then I get in trouble. Please respond Microsoft. so to be clear all I would do/use is Windows 10 and the Xbox one Beta app then
    I select the image I want from off my computer and then go to xbox one beta app and open my game DVR. I then upload the image from my PC to my game DVR and there you have it your own custom image background for your xbox one or xbox one club background. Thanks

    It says do not put personal information in your bio motto etc. then it goes to saying if you wish to share information with another player use a non public method, such as a private message. What else would a non public method be

    Yes exactly daft badger " if you wish to share any other personal information with a player, please do so by a non public method" so therefore you can give/ask someone for an msn or something? An msn is not personal information it's nothing but a screen
    name just how an Xbox profile

    Yeah, I read that thread. I think it's becuase there was a prize being offered in MS Points. I THINK that is a no-no, but I'm not really sure because I haven't memorized all of the "forum rules", but I have seen a pattern in other threads around the forums

    .

    In any event, you can announce a Halo 4 tournament, but I don't think you can offer a prize in MS Points or have an entry fee (or have it be some professional, money-making thing). It would just have to be for fun.

    Or you could use a codeword like "cookies". So like you can advertise a Halo 4 forum (ha, that's funny when you say it fast) tournament with no entry fee and the winner will get 800 "imaginary cookies".

    From what I am gathering you are just saving an image from the Xbox One app and using it as your own background. This does not violate any terms as long as the image isn't lewd or obscene. As mentioned by Fincher23, there is programs that can allow you
    to save these images, and even captures from Xbox.

    its totally ok. the easiest way would be to upload it to your onedrive or dropbox and use the app on your xbox to use the picture as a background. the picture shouldnt be something racist, show nudity or something similar and you should be fine
